I’m Capt. Ryan Fisher, outfitter and owner of WillowTail Farm. Duck hunting has been part of my life since childhood, growing up in the backwaters of Hickman, KY, Reelfoot Lake, and Beanswitch. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of hunting waterfowl across four different countries, but my greatest passion is still the thrill of working mallards right into our face here at home in West Tennessee.
When I’m not in the duck blind, you’ll find me guiding crappie fishing trips on Kentucky Lake and beyond with KY Lake Crappie Fishing. During the summer months, I also team up with my friend Lucas in Argentina to host world-class duck hunts with LO Hunting Service. Whether it’s on the river bottoms of Tennessee or the marshes of Argentina, my goal is simple: to share unforgettable hunting and fishing experiences with every guest.
WillowTail Farm is rooted in my family’s land along the Forked Deer River, where tradition and great hunting come together. Every blind is heated and equipped with full stoves—because a hot meal is part of the experience. Our duck lodge sits just minutes from the boat sheds, keeping you close to the action without sacrificing comfort. With top-of-the-line decoys and electronics in every setup, we’re committed to giving hunters not just a place to shoot, but a place to be impressed from the moment you step into the blind.
